Graves OR shrines?
According to hadith and sunnah of Mohammad, you are NOT suppose to build shrines over graves. They build shrines over graves alright, but the ignorent people go there to pray after they have build the shrines on graves.
People in Pakistan and other countries also have done that to their Owliyaa.

you are trying to mix greek logic with Islam. Trying to use these sort of logical arguments is not correct in Islam. By using such arguments, it is possible to make such a similarity between trade and interest based loans and make it permissible. But we know that one is permissible and the second one isn't.
Suppose I was to show you a saying of our beloved Prophet(sallalhu alaihi wa sallam) from Bukhari/Muslim in which he made haram the building of any type of structures/shrines over graves. Will you accept it or reject it? This is where your love of the Prophet(sallalhu alaihi wa sallam) is tested. Who will you follow?

As regards the graves of our beloved Prophet (s.a.w.w) and his ahlebait (a.s) and sahaba (r.a), The weird Saudis destroyed those graves just to create hatred among Muslims.
And now the new Saudi lobby is that we should not build graves. Where is all that crap coming from? It is a part to religion to have "taqaddus" (respect) for the grave. Thats why when u go to the graveyard, u make sure not to step on a grave. This Saudi concept of "not having graves" is very close to the hindu concept of burning the dead body. How ridiculuos! These Saudis are changing the sunnat of Rasool-Allah and their ancestors (abu lahab, abu sufyan, and abu jahal) did alot of damage to Islam and did everything they could to create hurdles in Prophet (s.a.w.w)'s way. Now their heirs (the saudis from Najad) are not even allowing the pious ahlebait and companions (r.a)of Prophet in graves. Shame on them. These Saudis first destroy the graves of ahlebait and sahaba and then feel proud about it? Astaghfirallah.

i know i know u do know alot about these SAUDIS and have a lot of informatuon on it....listen i have read what u just wrote and it may b true tooo, but one thing for sure that our EEMAAN is our EEMAAN. A protest - by demolishing the tombs of the Prophet's relatives! Sounds more like desecration and insult to the memory of the Prophet (saw)!
The wahabis are out of place to be telling Ahl As Sunnah wal jamaat anything! Your place amongst muslims was decided in the early years of your wahabiyya movement.
This is written down in the anals of Islamic history of the Ottaman Khalifate when one wahabi leader - Abdul Saud was brought before the Caliph and given the chance to do "Tawbah and Embrace Islam"; instead Abdul Saud tried to offer some gems that he had stolen from the tomb of the prophet (saw)!
The 4 representative of Ahl As Sunnah & the Khalif of Islam procalimed their decision which has been entered into History forever: They pronounced the Wahabiyya briggand - KAFIR and had him publicly BE-HEADED!
