Today while chatting, I met few ppls who are not happy with my posting regarding Islamic Pics…
I don’t know what to say or what to do… I just wanna ask for the forgiveness, as I haven’t seen those pics in real, just picked them from an Islamic site and posted here to share with you all…
Infact, I had received some positive replies to those postings, but now at the moment am very much confused…
Lets say, Oh Almighty Allah and Oh my Holy Prophet (PBUH) Please forgive me if those pics are fake… !

Not only do i have a problem with some of your pics, but with what u've just said in your post. Arifnawaz, how can u ask our Prophet sallallaho alaihe wassalaam for forgiveness?!?! Our Prophet (saw) was a great man, but he was a man, forgiveness for your wrongdoings is something u can only ask from Allah swt.
Note the following arifnawaz, despite the vast spiritual, moral and intellectual difference between them and ordinary men, and despite the special relation with God that they enjoyed, prophets were nonetheless humans with all that this term implies. They beget and are begotten; they eat and drink and go about in market plates [Furqan, verse 20]; they sleep and they die [Anbiya, verse 34]; they forget and they err [Taha, verse 121), [Kahf, verse 34].
Their knowledge is limited; and can therefore tell only that part of the future which God reveals to them [Jin, verse 26]. They cannot intercede with God on behalf of any person except with His permission [Jin, verse 27], and it is not left to them to cause people to go in the right path [Qasas, verse 56]. In short, they have no part to play in the running of the affairs of the universe [Al-'lmran, III:128]. Many early Muslim scholars have observed that to emphasize the humanity of the Prophet the Qur'an called him 'servant of God' on the three occasions on which he was honored.
Remember what Abu Bakr radiallaho anho said after the death of the Prophet (saw),* "Surely he who worshipped Muhammad (saw) should know that Muhammad (saw) is dead, but he who worshipped Allah swt should know that Allah swt is alive and never dies."*
I don't think those pictures are fake...
there are islamic museum in trukey and cairo. And they have all those things. My uncle visited those museums and I saw the pictures he took. I don't believe that any of this is fake.

Clementine, its not just the validity of the pictures or the 'artifacts' presented in the pictures themselves. Its the basic concept of giving such great importance to these things, that i see a problem with, because it can lead to shirk, ie. associating others with Allah swt. I mean all of you know...or most of you i hope...know that depicting the Prophet (saw) or any prophet for that matter is greatly disapproved of in the teachings of Islam, the reason for this being that it may lead to the worship of the Prophet (saw) which is wrong. And in the same manner its not right to give importance to items as such are depicted in the some of pictures arifnawaz has posted in the gallery.
"Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him in worship, but He forgives anything else to whomsoever He pleases, and whoever sets up partner with Allah in worship, he has indeed forged a mighty sin."(4:48)
"Verily, whosoever associates with Allah anything, for him Allah has forbidden Paradise, and the Fire will be his abode; and the wrongdoers shall have no helpers."(5:72)
"Muhammad is but a messenger and messengers have passed away before him. Will it be that when he dies or is slain you will turn back on your heels? He who turns back does no harm to Allah and Allah will reward the thankful."(3:144)
Arif, one can't be sure if these pictures genuinely belong to Prophet Mohammad(Pbuh). Even if they do, then they shouldn't be treated like some artifacts of display as it is an insultive act itself.
Secondly, these pictures can be considered as an object of worship by some, which should be discouraged. It leads to deviation from the fundamental teachings of Islam, Which is worshipping of Allah, and Allah only.
ADMIN: Posting pictures of Mohammad's(Pbuh) hair and other stuff is not a matter of free speech, but an act of insult. Mohammad(Pbuh) or any of his belongings shouldn't be a source of worldly displays. Therefore, display of such pictures should be discouraged. Thank you Kindly!
Yeah agree with you on that GFQ. When I was in Madina visiting Roza-e-Mubarak, I saw many women in Sajda facing roza-e-mubarak, there are unfortunately a large no. of Muslims who really don't know how to respect those places.
infact, they do this out of love and respect for Allah and his massenger. Magar, mohabat main bhi had se nahien guzarna chahieye... one has to be very careful about these things which lead to shirk.
Likewise, kissing the walls of Kaaba is not allowed.
I am not sure whether it is right or not to post these pictures.
For most of the people, it is just for the increase in information.. but for some it might lead to shirk...

I don't see how it should be so problematic to preserve a part of our spiritual heritage. The prophet and his teachings are a significant part of muslims' lives and preserving artifacts belonging to him should serve as somewhat of a reminder of religious history.
I do agree that we need to make sure that people don't start giving spiritual allegiance to these artifacts. So the burden of educating the illinformed falls on us. We need to educate people about what the ruling in Islam is about associating mortals and their belongings to the religion. Destroying these artifacts gets us nowhere. Masses remain uninformed and we loose a part of our history.
Ghalib, in no way Mohammad's(pbuh) glory transcends into these pieces of hair and beard and other things. He himself has forbidden from collecting such material like hair and stuff. Therefore, this kind of stuff or behaviour doesn't represent any kind of Islamic history. It is one of the root causes of shirk , and Bi'da. He(pbuh) left his sunnah for all the believers, and best way to honor him is to follow on his footsteps. Attaching any importance to 'objects' and precieving them as any source of religious heritage is not part of Islam. It is almost reminiscent of idol worshipping.

When we talk about bida'ah or shirk, we're stepping into a completely different terriotory then what I have referred to here. True, with the collection of these artifacts, a good number of followers offer extreme devotion which borders bida'ah.
I am referring to the prophet as a mere mortal whose belongings should be preserved for the generation to come just as we preserve artifacts for other prominent figures of history. Your concern for bida'ah is valid and something which should be addressed. Maybe the museum, while displaying the artifacts, post a little warning about bida'ah or shirk. Solution lies in educating the masses about dangers of wrongful devotion, not depriving them of pieces of histroy.

I saw them, I picked them from the net and posted here that if watching those picture is good then why not share with my brothers and sisters here... I do not have any other idea in my mind while posting... !

The whole purpose of posting pics in this gallery ( I think ) is when you see something admirable or nice then you want to share it with your fellow guppies??
give the guy a break - and don’t get so carried away with the shirk and whatnot else…
I guess that ALOT of people - see the pictures some of which have breath taking beauty and some that are older and more historical..with interest and amazement..
You just look at the picture - admire it - and move ON…
Why are you all making such a big fuss over it…???
