I received this email today and thought it would be of interest to the guppies at the religion forum:

ASSALAM U ALAIKUM

ON THE 27TH OF DECEMBER, THE INCIDENT OF BENAZIR BHUTTO’S ASSASINATION TOOK PLACE. AS A REPERCUSSION OF THIS INCIDENT A LOT OF VIOLENCE PREVAILED IN THE COUNTRY LEADING TO GREAT LOSSES. A PART OF THAT INCLUDES SETTING ABLAZE A CONTAINER LOADED WITH 15,000 COPIES OF ****QURAN MAJEED, ****DESPITE THE DRIVER’S WARNING. SUCH AN INCIDENT HAPPENING IN A MUSLIM COUNTRY BY THE HANDS OF MUSLIMS IS AN INVITATION TO ALLAH’S WRATH. ON ACCOUNT OF THIS, THE ULEMA HAVE ASKED PUBLIC TO OFFER AT LEAST 2 RAK’ATS SALAT UT TAUBA TO PREVENT THE WRATH OF ALLAH SWT. PLEASE OFFER AT ****LEAST 2 RAK’AT SALAT UT TAUBA AND ALSO INFORM OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. ****

Shouldn't the people who put the truck on fire read the salat and ask forgiveness?:s dont mind reading anything regarding religion but then again i am not responsible for this act am i?

^ But then the ulema might be talking about collective adaab since as they say in urdu, chakki me aatay ke saat rai bhee chuk jata hai..

this is not the first time i heard this. you all guys are wise enough to call bluff and not promote spammars..
i got similar email after gujrat earthquake, it said hindus burned 10000 copies of bible thats why got took revange in the form of earth quake..

please be a good netizen and do not spred this to your friends..

I was about to say that ^ its similar to those mails in which they say you earn reward if you fwd it to 20 people..as if Allah wants us to forget praying and start spamming/forwarding mails.
