**The kind of interest Pak-India matches generate is not matched by any form of competition played anywhere in the world. With interest comes a lot of emotion and heightened tension. Based on our past experiences in such encounters, the following is a list of rules and initiatives we have drafted to ensure an enjoyable series for the guppies:

Based on past feedback from guppies, it has been decided that there be will only one thread per match.

No personal attacks will be allowed in any capacity during the series. Supporters of neither team will be allowed to make inflammatory comments about the other team or country. Any poster seen as the starter of any such flaming match will be penalized more heavily. If you see any post(s) that you deem offensive, you are strongly encouraged to contact the moderators and advise them of the post instead of replying and aggravating the issue.

To avoid the problems we encountered in the World Cup, we have asked a senior Indian member, karina, to provide us with an Indian perspective on posts she might find offensive. At the same time, we encourage all guppies to report any post in poor taste to the moderators. The above is just a measure to try and understand the perspective of our non-Pakistani members and to provide a healthier venue for interaction for all our members.

F&B will run the Fantasy League while Diablo Kazama will ensure that teams are not changed after 12 March 2004.

To encourage positive and meaningful discussions, there will an ongoing contest to decide which member made the most valuable contributions to KK during the series. At the end of the series, the guppies will nominate a number of posters for a poll which will then be voted upon by the guppies. The winner of this contest will receive a T-shirt autographed by the original cornered tiger, the legendary Imran Khan.

Often at the end of the series, the overall scoreline does not do justice to the quality and intensity of the games that were played. Therefore, we have requested two respected and well-informed guppies, saby and karina, to provide us with a summary of the day’s play from their team’s point of view. This thread will serve as a series of snapshots as this intriguing contest unfolds. It will be a sticky thread and not open to posting for all guppies much in the same way as the fantasy league thread.
We hope that by putting into effect the above points, guppies will be able to enjoy this cracker of a series to the fullest extent possible. If you have any feedback regarding the above, please PM the moderators and we will address your concerns at the earliest possible opportunity.
