Nope most of those endeavors being for purposes other than Hollywood. After all why do people make the difference between the Sundance Film Festival and the Oscars? The justification maybe lame but it is the unit of measure generally accepted.
Ocean’s Eleven was great. It was unrealistic, light-hearted with focus being on a group of people successfully robbing another group of people.
Southie I have heard of a few Indian movies on the same lines. There is this movie I saw in Farah where different directors have created short stories about the lives of different people in India. Very much like Paris Je t’ami or New York I love you. That would be considered artistic in my opinion.
