Its nice to see threads almost in every forum on mother’s day etc.
I think we all celebrate mothers day or fathers day atleast once a week- i know we [siblings] do.
We would give ami ji massages, pedicure, manicure, clean the house, do the dishes, when she comes back from work not letting her do anything.
They were showing interviews of people all over the city yesterday- “why they love their mother” these were some of the answers.
- i love my mother because she makes the best Marinara Sauce.
- i love my mother so much that i am living with her for past 22 years.
- i know my mom because she cooks the best ribs.
- i just wanted to slap those people who said the above things - marinara sauce i mean come on… 22 years - tu kia koi ehsaan kiaa?
Plus over the weekend went over to this close friend’s house. Her grand father passed away few weeks back. Ami ji and Aunty ji were talking how they miss their parents - " oh awaz phir nahe aveey gi"- " woh ghar soona soona lagdaa haai" - I was sitting with my friend on the other side of the room. It just hit me at that very moment that i don’t ever want to live that moment. I want to die before that happens. Its scary! Just a single millisecond feeling - creeps me out…
I am sure all of us have heard of Alim online where Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain is the host. I am so impressed by his personality. Yesterday he was interviewing Mothers in Pakistan who were left in elder care place.
- as he was speaking with one women there -he asked why she came here
i wanted to close the tv before i heard the following line] - “mera beta mujhee yaha le ke aya kiokeh mere sar mein joeein par gai hai- kehta hai mein us ke bacho ko ganda kar rahi hon”
he asked another women ap ke bache ap se kitna pyar karte hain…
that women replied - “mera bacha mujh se bohot piyar karta hai”
he went - agar karta hai to ap yaha kio hain
- ITS TERRIBLE.
