Allah ka shukr hey, the clout of people i am friends with and work with, are truly multi cultural and we all celebrate each others’ backgrounds.
i think that it is very important for non Muslims& non -Pakistanis get to be our friends, and know us as their good, open hearted neighbors, colleagues, fellow students and possibly family.
i have been blessed with a real;y nice friend from Dominican republic, to student from china, to colleagues from Africa, & Europe.
share any particular story of true friendship of this nature, beyond the racial, religions and national divides.
i think, as Muslims and Pakistanis we can do a lot in changing the perceptions of the average fellow citizens, about who we are and who we are not.
that can go along way in building trust and inducing a sense of reflection on how wrong some people are when they quickly misjudge and deal with Muslims and Pakistanis in an unfair manner.

i've friends from different cultures & backgrounds too. It makes it easier to convey the correct info. to them rather than whatever they listen from others such as media rumours etc.
I've noticed that they think different now. specifically my white friends unerstand now that its not the people of PK or muslims who are bad - it can be anyone.
