So I started my ‘periods’ 5 days early-usually regular but because I was on holiday I put it down to this..
now I bled moderately heavy for 2 days and 3rd day I have hardly anything (I usually bleed for abt 5-6 days easily)…im confused…could this be implantation bleeding??
Also I usually have painful P’s, but this time I hardly had to take any painkillers because they didnt hurt that much…
How do I know for sure if they were periods or IB? Im thinking its too early to do a test? or should I do one?
implantation bleeding should really be called implantation spotting or slight streaking. its definitely not enough to warrant the use of pads and it shouldn't be happening for 2-3 days. most often its like a little tinge of red when you wipe. also, what colour was it? if it was dark brown or dark red then it was most likely your body cleansing itself of any leftovers from your last period.
in any case, i'd wait until at least 14 dpo before testing. good luck!
i think there's hardly any way to find out for sure if it's implantation bleeding or menstruel...you just have to be a little patient and then either do the home test..
I did a test yday-around evening and it was negative...
now:
1. either im not pregnant
2. its too early to do the test yet-should wait a week
3. maybe i shouldve done it in the morning
so Im not really sure :S
Tried to book appt with doctor, but no appt this week...guess I'll have to wait for more symptoms..having none at the moment...except a dull pain above belly button..dont know if that counts :S
