What is it? A highly contagious skin infection mostly on the face, esp. around the mouth and nose but any part of the body may be affected.
How? It is caused by infection with streptococcal bacteria and is mosre common in conjunction with a skin condition such as eczema, insect bites, scratches or nappy rash.
**Symptoms? **Red itchy rash like a cluster of spots, which oozes a yellowish fluid. It spredas easily.
**Treatment? **Antibiotc cream or in more severe cases, tablets
