if he had lied to a grand jury, it would constitute a crime and possibility of impeachment but lying to the nation is not a crime as defined by the law. all politicians lie, regardless of the party or country

For gross incompetance, there was a tried and proven policy of putting Air Marshalls on board all flights in the USA all thru the 70's when hi jacking of airplanes to Cuba was almost weekly occurrance and armed Air Marshalls put a total stop to that.
Now the FBI was aware that there was a plot by Al Qaida before 9/11, because Ramsi Yusuf had told them, but the Govt of George Bush did nothing.
9/11 would never had happened if Armed Air Marshalls had been on board those flights, you think guys with box cutters could have taken over flights if Air Marshalls were on board.

im not a lawyer or politician, but incompetance is not a crime and u cant impeach a US president in congress based on that. No law has been broken.

well, first of all he could be for example taken to court why he lied nation into Iraq war, if he continues with his lies then that is game :D, if he doesn't lie then he loses his chaddi.
