Dems will have control of congress, house and senate (most likely, VA race will be won by that democract, its only a matter of time). It basically means that Dems will control over what legislation gets passed or pushed and who sits on congressional hearing committess and all that. Bush has no choice but to listen to the dems now in the last two years he has left in office.
So
What does this all mean for Pakistan and Mush, A.Q Khan, our nuclear capabilities and war in the tribal regions of NWFP.

I want to hear from all you political pundits.
War in Iraq and foriegn Policy decisions are not debated by Congress, there will surely be call for accountability, but Bush is still the Man in Charge of foriegn Policy.
Two Years on cruise control should not have much effect on Policy towards Pakistan, however what Musharraf has done in Azad Qabail is going to have or I should say is already having repercushions in Pakistan's internal stability for a long time...
I want to hear from all you political pundits.
AQ Khan will "enjoy" the life just as nowadays, I don't think anything is likely to happen about that, he is already out of any controls/decisions.
For Mush, now he has to 'play' his cards sensibly as he would know that his days as 'ally' are numbered so he won't enjoy the support he has been. There hasn't been unaccounted aid to Pakistan anyway, so that is not going to change much, if any F-16 was to be shipped it would be made into F-1.6.
Republicans in last 6 years have spoiled the living crap out of Pakistan by pumping billions. The deal was you give and help kill terrorists and we help get your economy up. There were efforts by government to promote business but Republicans made sure Pakistan gets the money. Moreover, no pressure on Mushrraff this guy was the king of the world. Over at one place you have President Bush promoting democracy and the military guy is by his side.
Democrats will make sure Pakistan conducts general election in ’07, which is fine by me but looking at Pakistan we have to make sure that a nut job does not take over and takes the country back decades. Republicans knew the situation with Pakistan and that is why they said nothing rather let Mushrraff handle these issues.
Let us see how gracious Democrats are with Pakistan when it comes to helping financially and patient with our democracy.
Foeign policy will not be changed. The money spent in Iraq and the death toll of US army etc will be dicussed ofcourse. But that is it.
Everything regarding Pakistan will remain the same.
Look at the history. Democrats are a little better intems of foreign policies but overall, they're the same too. Just their methodology is different. The results are always the same.
If we see a change in Pakistan (PK govt), it will only be due to the civil war situation in Pakistan. Not because of Democrats.
What does this all mean for Pakistan and Mush, A.Q Khan, our nuclear capabilities and war in the tribal regions of NWFP.
We will ask Democrats if we can do anything for them, if we can, will stay in goodbooks, if they feel we r of no use, then we will say we do not need US dollars.
These would be good things. Hopefully the Dems will make headway in these areas. There aren’t too many issues more important than defeating the terrorists that attacked America and stopping nuke proliferation.
not good for Pakistan. Dems will work with India to isolate Pakistan. Their attitude towards us is like the republican attitude towards Syria. Pressure will be to allow american forces in FATA and if Pakistan resists we'll return to sanctions/pressure through the debt agencies.
Musharraf missed a trick I think by not handing over a few high profile Al Qaeda folks close to election time.
On the other hand it might force Mushie to retire/curtail his powers, perhaps that isnt so bad.
