Zia & Sharif were neither leftie nor commie. We have a cultural problem that means people want to take from the state and abuse their power to benefit their families; and unless this attitude changes Pakistan will always stay weak.
No country ever became strong on the back of corruption.
And India has the exact same problem too. Its superpower dreams are just pipe dreams. No desi country can become strong because desis are not wiling to put nation before family.
