1- our pediatrician recomends hepatitus A shots.
It's a course of 2. They are given 6 months apart. He also
mentioned it's now a requirement (even if you are not traveling).
2- malaria pills
You have to start taking them a week before departure, and
continue to take one, once a week for the time u are there and 4 weeks
after you come back. So if I were to go for 5 weeks to Pakistan, I would
end up taking em for 10 weeks (once a week).
Again this was recomended by a pediatrician. Not sure
whether adults need the same or not.
