On a serious note, not only would losing this case harm Blackberry's sales, but I feel it'll also affect it's workforce.

Btw... does one have to get an Internet plan in order to check email on Blackberry? In addition, I assume it also works like a PDA, correct?

You have to get a Data plan (which enables internet and email) .. it has functionalities of a PDA.. such as calendar (which is automatically updated sync wireless with your outlook account), and other apps

I used the Internet on my cell phone to check mail. That too without purchasing a plan. It costed me around $58.00

yeah .. well for $99 (i believe.. ) rogers is giving unlimited data package on blackberry.. so if u use the net alot and can't live without this is worth the investment..

Yeah.. the internet cost is too much and specially for students it is HUGE.. If you want to get organized and stuff like that then PDA is ur best option.. blackberry just won't deliver the same feel .. or you could wait till May..:)
