I doubt if that’s the case, specially these days. There were few staff that were fired when such scandals took place many many yrs ago.

Always best to do it with the proper/correct documentation.

oh i see…looking at the number of immigrants coming to Canada ]especially from the Middle East suggests that may be some other immigration officers at Canadian Embassy abroad have been bribed recently.

indeed, these crook immigration lawyers’ services are sought by crooks hopefuls who want to come to Canada by hooks or by crooks.
