Thanks for the recipe but what if I use tamarind paste instead of just the seeds? Should I follow the same procedure?

I’m not sure…check to see the ingredients of the tamarind paste and what’s in it?

I would use imli seeds that come in the plastic packet and then make the sauce yourself.
