Food Pantry Volunteer Opportunities

Asalaamu alaikum

IMAN again must take a moment to say thanks for the continued generosity of IMAN volunteers. Volunteers at IMAN play an integral role in many of IMAN’s programs.

IMAN requests Volunteers for the Food Pantry.

Food Pantry Assistant-Responsible for pick-up and delivery of food
items. Pick-up is done every Thursday morning @ 10 a.m. IMAN will
provide use of delivery van and insurance with a valid drivers license.

Food Pantry distribution- A committed individual is needed to distribute food items to the needy. Responsibilities include accepting intake forms and organizing food bags. Useful qualities include a cordial disposition, ability to work with a diverse population and reliability.

Monthy and Weekly time commitments are available.

The IMAN Food Pantry is located at:
ICIC (Inner-City Islamic Center)
5301 South Justine
Chicago, Illinois.

The Food Pantry is open every Sunday and Tuesday @ 10 a.m.
