ahadeeth were collected three hundred years AFTER the death of Muhammad(PBUH). you knew that right?

there is no way of telling whether a hadith is right or wrong. you know that right?
Wrong. You don't know about science of hadith, please read about it.
they are the same place in islam as gospels have in christianity. we dont accept gospels as the true account of what jesus christ did in his lifetime,
Some accounts don't contradict with Islamic scriptures so we accept them.

there are several riwayats that clearly contradicts the Quran. there are some that create doubts about the authenticity of the Quran, even though God has said that he will be the one protecting the authenticity of the Quran.
Please give some examples?
there are different details about this Mehdi. shias believe that he has been in hiding for the last several centuries and will reappear at the end of times. Sunnis believe that he will be born one day. both cite ahadiths. both believe they are authentic. both can not be true at the same time.
Please provide reference for both ahadith or riwaya, thank you. I think you are missing many things.
if god had intended for some Mehdi to come he would have atleast indicated it in the Quran ONCE. but he did not. isnt he all seeing? did not he know about the future? if God knew about it why didnt he mention it in the Quran.
May be its not that important or may be it is mentioned in the Quran but we are still unable to understand it.
personally i believe anything that does not even have the slilghtest hint in the quran but is mentioned anywhere in the ahadeeth should be rejected.
For example?
there is no logic for it. there will be a day of judgement and the quran has clearly told you that. but trust me there is no one coming to save you.
This is also a sign that people will forget or least expect the coming of Mahdi.
the belief in mehdi is just like christians telling you that if you embrace christianity then all your sins will be washed away.
No, no one is saying here if you believe in Mahdi your sins will be washed away.
stop living in the fantasy world. didnt god tell us that even he does not change the state of the nation unless it (nation) starts struggling for it. *why would he send a Mehdi is beyond me. * wake up. it is about time.
Because every nation needs a Leader(Imam).
I agree that we should be struggling even when we see the very last sing of the Qyamah.
