So u are saying that so called mehdi will be reluctunt to accept the duty Allah All mighty has given him, i recall the incident of Hazrat Younis (AS) when he did almost the same and was punished by Allah tabarek'o'tala, have any hadith has mentioned how will he be punished for not accepting his duty?
Or it is like, Because he is Mehdi, so Allah will not punish him like he punished Hazrat Younis(AS). if this is the case then, his position is higher then prophets, isn't it.
Again talking about ahadith of Mehdi, there are lots of them, but i haven't seen any which tells me what Mehdi do once Hazrat Essa (AS) will appear and kill Dajjal? it is like he just disappear from the scene!!! have u known any please do provide me the same with proper ref.

I am not saying the likes at all. There is a world of difference between people Allah (SWT) ordering his messengers through revelation and a bunch of rowdy Muslims who are forcing the Mahdi to accept allegience.
Also the role is of leadership and one cannot be the most humble person if he does not shy away from being leader. To readily accept leadership is to be against the grain of a righteous leader let alone the Mahdi.
The hadith of Mahdi are signs they are not precognitive documentaries. One sign will lead to the next. The absence of Mahdi's whereabouts after the accounts of Isa (AS) do not mean anything. There are hadith about the distribution of wealth and the Yajuj Majuj it is quite possible that Mahdi will be shaheed, but again if it is not known by signs it does not mean anything either way.
