Re: Imam Mehdi is here???
many of the ahadeeth are fabricated. you knew that right, didnt you?
Many of the hadeeth are authentic; you knew that didn't you?
ahadeeth were collected three hundred years AFTER the death of Muhammad(PBUH). you knew that right?
Allah (swt) said in the Quran to believe his Prophets; you knew that didn't you?
there is no way of telling whether a hadith is right or wrong. you know that right?
Actually, I didn't know that, and it sounds pretty absurd to me. The authenticity of a hadeeth can be achieved by the number of times it is transmitted and/or confirmed by other collectors/companions.
they are the same place in islam as gospels have in christianity. we dont accept gospels as the true account of what jesus christ did in his lifetime, and you believe in accounts that were collected three hundred years later?
It doesn't matter when they were collected - whats of concern is regarding whats written therein. Some are fabricated, most are not.
there are several riwayats that clearly contradicts the Quran. there are some that create doubts about the authenticity of the Quran, even though God has said that he will be the one protecting the authenticity of the Quran.
Several and some, not all.
there are different details about this Mehdi. shias believe that he has been in hiding for the last several centuries and will reappear at the end of times. Sunnis believe that he will be born one day. both cite ahadiths. both believe they are authentic. both can not be true at the same time.
Different interpretations, but both agree that he will come. So whats the problem?
if god had intended for some Mehdi to come he would have atleast indicated it in the Quran ONCE.
Not necessarily. He didn't indicate the emergence of AIDS or the world wars, did he? That is just your subjective opinion that everything that happens on earth must be revealed in the Quran.
but he did not. isnt he all seeing? did not he know about the future? if God knew about it why didnt he mention it in the Quran.
Would it make a difference if He mentioned it in the Quran? At most, it would allure only those who choose a middle-ground in Islam, following the Quran, and ignoring the Prophet's words.
personally i believe anything that does not even have the slilghtest hint in the quran but is mentioned anywhere in the ahadeeth should be rejected.
Good for you.
there is no logic for it.
May be there is logic for it but you lack the intellectual breadth to comprehend?
there will be a day of judgement and the quran has clearly told you that. but trust me there is no one coming to save you.
No, thank you!
I'll take the words of the Prophet to be more authentic, especially since its a duty ordained on all Muslims by Allah (swt).
the belief in mehdi is just like christians telling you that if you embrace christianity then all your sins will be washed away.
Cretinous analogy.
time to wake up guy. oh by the way your talk is immature, your thought limited. people who can not have an arguement will usually revert to name calling, as you have done in this case. you can not argue with me on the basis of logic and facts.
Already done it. And I already explained why you are an idiot.
stop living in the fantasy world. didnt god tell us that even he does not change the state of the nation unless it (nation) starts struggling for it. why would he send a Mehdi is beyond me. wake up. it is about time.
Yes, He did tell us, and I fail to see the correlation.
If its beyond you, then don't worry about it. Let the wiser of people handle it.
Nothing happens to anyone that He has not fitted by nature to bear.
