Re: Imam convicted of rape
Lajawab:
Men of God are just that…Men of God…
They are neither infallible nor angels…
And Fraudia, when was the last time you ever heard a DNA testimony to a rape being admitted after 2 years?
The most time that any rape victim has in subjecting herself to a DNA sample is 72 hours…
Just because the man is a ‘man of God’, we should hang him from the highest mimbar…
The same judgemental story…A ‘man of God’ stumbles in grace, and other Muslims pile on top of him…
Wallahi, he may be more dear to Allah :swt: for admitting his guilt in court after 2 years when his lawyers could easily have gotten him off without so much as a handcuff…
You don’t trust me? Ask any lawyer about a rape case submitted after two years…
And yet, the axiom that the greater the sinner is, the greater the other person’s sins are to him…That is why the famous Jesus parable comes to mind…“Let him who has not sinned cast the first stone”…
So go ahead, judge and cast the first stone on this ‘man of God’…
I personally know of an instance in which a ‘man of God’ was convicted of something…His lawyers pleaded with him to say something (Untrue), but the man refused…He openly admitted his guilt…The lawyers were dumbfounded…
Actually Lajawab, it has more to do with him having sex in a masjid. Doesn’t that bother you at all? It’s just as obscene as people doing it in churches. Get a freaking hotel room. Unless it’s o.k., so much for keeping the masjid ‘paak’ for others to come and pray in.
