Mind you I like older Britian too… as a Volunteer worker I got to speak to so many old timers and judging from them Britian used to be so much better before the 1990’s and all the nasty things you hear about today…

Khalil Bhai it looks simmilar to my ancestral home too… I guess thats only due to the fact that it appears to have a simmilar high wall surrounding it with a firestep too.

**achchhaa…wow! i think in old days we had joint family system and we had a large family as a result [my dad used to tell us that at one point there were 50 kids in the house…lol] we had huge courtyards so all could sleep there during summer months. and far parda reasons, walls were high and outside the house area [called darvaazah. baiThak, chaupaal] was used by men. i used to sleep outside too in the chaupaal with friends and wud go in the middle of the night to throw stones in other people’s homes and thus enjoyed commotion [it was wrong though]…no one found out for a long time that those stone throwers were us…it was like “intifada” for us 
it was so much fun…
…we, the friends, used to squat on those railway tracks for hours and enjoyed chatting and putting rocks on the tracks which was crushed into cement by oncoming 24-coach fastest trains of India [like Rajdhani Express]…the boom we used to hear was so exhilarating…Railways was part of our lives back then.

Strangely the people I met were more scathing towards the laziness of natural Brits. Why becuase outsiders like me keep the country running smoothly the Poles are just a new wave of workers and the bitter truth is that they have skills the natives dont and they work for less and twice as hard.
I am tempted to post some interesting images of mine and my fellow freinds past… makes me laugh everytime.

u have remind me of my childhood days :naak: when i too lived in a joint family used to play and fights with my cousins n had really a great time with them.

Now, this one reminds me of my childhood when I used to visit back home , my cousins n me we had too many dolls and we use to play with them and dolls used to get married.It was such a fun , missing that fun
