Ok here is the deal when you want to seek the truth you don't go biased.Just don't make any imagination just feel the word Allah written in your heart.My reason is that if you go with image already when your concentration becomes strong you will start seeing the light but that light ain't Allah it will be your imagination.So go with the word Allah.More over i used to see up while praying ,well Allah says "main insaan ki sherag sae bhi nazdeek hon" Bahu(or bulley shah don't remember exactly) says allah na mashriq main hae na maghrib wo to momin ya zahid key dil mein hae.More over if you want to see Allah you must know you can't until you become Fana fi rasool first(according to my knowlege gathered from ainul fakr).
