Thanks hun for that

Anyone else more reviews??

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

Oh yes i emailed them for some price quotes, they are super nice and talk you through everything. HSY is £3000 upward as is Mehdi...but its worth it since i can get them here and not risk going to pakistan. :D

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

£3000 is lots of money
what is medhi by the way? at the end it is piece of cloth. do you think it has gold in it?

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

I think she is referring to the designer, Mehdi.

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

mehdi is also a really upmarket designer in pak...whoz bridals are sold in imani.....basically its shopping for the top names from the comfort of ur own home and having to travel to pak...its slightly over-priced but i think since im keeping everything else minimal im gona opt for a killer dress :D

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

do you think £3000 is less money even it mehdi designer

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

I love their stuff.. was going to order an ivory and silver Maria B lengha from there..

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

£3000 is a lot of money if thats what there starting prices are like. How are they do you reckon about negotiatons??

I live in London so I'm thinking whether its worth the trip 4 hours up to Manchester...??

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

^Probably is..

They really need to open a branch in London tho..

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

Ohh no thats just for HSY bridals.....he is like top market, you can get otherstuff starting at 1500+ and i think they are flexible in the sense that the embroidary can be altered to suit your budget....so yea its defo worth the 4 hr drive...... :D do email or call them first for an appointment.

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

I asked for some quotes from them and they are super quick with the response..and they also feature in a programme called Asain wedding designers on Wedding Tv Asia I think Channel 267 Sky...and I guess they must be pretty good to get on Tv..

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

My cousin ordered her wedding lengha from them, as she didn't want the hassle of going to Pakistan and fussing around with cloth, kaam and the huge, over-inflated egos of designers. Her lengha was HSY (I think) and the fabrc was very good quality silk, with beautiful, heavy yet fine embroidary on the border of the dubatta, kameez and skirt. It was beautiful and she paid £2800-£3000. She liked them so much that she ended up ordering her waleema outfit from them too.

Re: Imaani Studio - Manchester, UK

If anything, come and have a look around- it's definately worth it. They're based in Cheetham Hill in Manchester- it's not a nice shop to look at (on an industrial estate) but they have lots of clothes displayed for you to have a look at. The husband and wife team are very approachable too and spend a lot of time (if they know you're serious) with you, going through the ins and outs of what you're looking for and what they can provide. They also have the actual Pakistani designers coming over and taking orders too. When my sister got married, we went over and suddenly Maria B turned up! Definately go see- it'll give you an idea of what's 'out there!'
