do the three power walks a week (try to do atleast an hour for each walk and walk briskly) eliminate all stuff made with sugar and refined flour/white rice...and cut out deep fried/processed/canned foods and foods with preservatives. get the bulk of your carbs from veggies and once a day have whole grains. get protein from fish or chicken. drink water with lemon squeezed in before meals and in the morning. dont take any dairy or eggs. eat fruits if u crave something sweet and make sure to eat a variety of veggies and fruits to get your minerals and vitamins the natural way. one way of getting LOTS of minerals is sea vegetables (hijiki, nori, and other types of seaweed) also cut down on coffee/desi tea and substitute with green tea or herbal tea.
im sorry :( this sucks but it works. and u'll end up with more energy.
^^Mywish its not that bad yar. u lose the craving part when u get used to this diet and after u're done losing weight its ok to indulge a little bit now and then.
(dont hate me. i dont always practice what i preach i just had some amazing deep fried chicken in garlic sauce with white rice and chicken pakoras yesterday :) hehe )
i tried it but with diary and eggs, and it worked very well:halo:
but it’s hard to practice on everyday basis, especially for people who spend most of their time outside home: work, or study+work
ofcourse you should make these changes gradually. not at once.
in malhot's case....he wants to lose way too much weight too fast....plus he doesnt have time other than three walks a week.
I am a woman (Punjab), wanting to lose 5kgs. Currently, Im trying to starve all day. Only take my dinner (but my dinner has turned into full 3 meals ). I lost 2 kgs in the past 2 weeks but regained 2.5kgs on my off day
^ my dinner consists of any meat/chicken/fish/vegetable/daal/other dish cooked in Paki style with bread or rice (mostly rice ) + lots of yoghurt with that + 2 glasses of butter scotch icecream milkshak. And sometimes I wake up at night feeling hungry so I eat cheese cubes plain or with bread. Sometimes jelly/jam with bread.
I dont know when I am going to lose those 5 kgs with this special diet of mine
Big Mouth - I'm not sure if your serious or not, but cravings are a big problem- i've bought a toothpaste which claims to stop food cravings. Maybe that 'll help your cravings too.
I don't think theres 1 special toothpastet hat stops craving, but hte reasoning behind it is that if u brush ur teeth, u get that toothpasty taste in ur mouth that makes everything else taste funny for a little while.. and by the time that funny taste is gone, one will have usually forgotten abt the craving or had it passed :)
Sara516 - The toothpaste I'm talking about is available at the local Coles supermarket. Its called 'White Glo" "Homeopathic formula to help supress appetite & reduce food cravings'.
I'm sure your local chemist would also store other tablets etc. But I bought this one because it mentions it Homeopathic.
Anyway - I've now lost about 3.5 to 4 kg in 4 weeks. (Target 12 kg)
