Funny how most of the things we worry about don't take place. Glad things work out. Can't stop your MIL from venting about the other bahu....but don't offer any negative opinions...as they might be repeated. Continue being nice/the bigger person.
yessss..husband ke children are your children in law if husband had children pehley se..
there r also mamo mumani in law..and bhanjey bhateejey in law 
she even told me some issues she has with another bahu, her neice, to which i made no comment.
Don't get too excited. She says the same things about you to her other bahu/neice when she's with her. No offence but that's just how most women roll.

good for you that things are good on your end. Just keep doing what you think is needed. But one thing don't get too high because thigns may swing back and forth, inshallah all will be good just do your part and don't worry about the rest you will see she will value for forever..
