Glamsy i also used to watch one born evry minute in my 9th month and i was scared to death but i was hopeful dont know why that mine will be much easier due to epidural but giess what i ended up in the very same manner at first listening to the cries of other women and then doing the same thing myself as epidural was all messed up within 2 hours and i went all natural at the end. But the main thing is that time comes and goes what remains there is baby sleepless nights and dreadly breastfeeding. Get more info on that as it remains there for atleast 3 months.

Thanks for heads up heydou, I think for now I am just concentrating on getting the baby out of my body without any problems InshAllah. I think time is getting closer as I have been up with irregular contractions all night and they are not Braxton Hicks as I had a show as well( Sorry too much info). Please girls make dua for me that it goes smoothly InshAllah I know it wont be pain free, If they call this early labour then I can only imagine what real deal is going to be and being a FTM you dont know how your body is going to cope :(.

I am still a long way to go from labor but it already scares me so sending lots and lots of prayers your way! InshaAllah your labor and delivery will go fine and may you and the baby both come back home safe and healthy!

Thanks ak12, I had a baby boy MashAllah and we are back home recovering now. If I can give you one advise that will be dont be scared, I am not gona pretend and say its not painful it is, I was in slow labour for 3 days before I gave birth my contractions will start and stop randomly they will be constant throgh night so when I went into labour I had no sleep for last 72 hours and my body was exausted but I dilated 3-10 cm within 8 hours and had my baby in 12 hours.I only used gas and air as pain relief so cant tell you about epidural. Dont worry you will be fine InshAllah.

And for all those who replied to my thread, I want to thank you all. Alhamdulillah we were blessed with a baby boy last week. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be!! It seems to be hyped up so much, that you just cant help but be scared. But once I was there, it was ok. And honestly, the nurses and doctors were all so nice and very professional, it really helped a lot as well.
Now I am just enjoying my time with my little monkey - thats a whole other challenge on its own.
