At first I was ‘sick’, and then I got a cold and was out for the whole weekend since I was on antibiotics. I hate not fasting, but I started again yesterday and the remnants of the cold are still around, throat still slightly sore and phlegm stuck in my chest. I feel bad for having missed so many rozay, not reading quraan regularly and slacking with namaaz as well.
It’s a lot easier to keep rozay when everyone around you is doing the same. Shaayad aadat ho jaati hai isliye? I always find it harder to keep the make-up rozay. I missed a few too
I missed two as I was sick, really sick, with fever and flu during weekend, feeling much better now. Catty, its better to get well and then fast as to fast during an illness, it doesnt matter that you missed those, your intention was good, so its all well.
I am working very hard since last one month…right now working during the nights:mad: (to earn some money/college dues)…but i am missing my rozaas too(i missed 7 in a row…i got so tired once that i cried while on the work)Today is my 12th rozaa now:(
awww… … this is a very testing month for us all. I keep falling into a deep sleep on the train ride home due to exhaustion and feeling weak, eventhough I’m not over-exerting myself.
Yesterday, in one of my deep dozes on the train, I kept unintentionally dropping my head onto the shoulder of the woman next to me on the train. She was getting very pissed off. I was so embarrased.
However, fasting is a very spiritually satisifying experience.
aww Goliko. I know how that is firsthand. Just hang in there, you’ll make it insha’Allah
Mehnaz, I keep falling asleep on the train too and waking up with a start. Once the train braked so suddenly I almost fell off my seat. Highly embarrassing
