Re: I'm sad
hmmmm mostly i tossed stuff from the boys - starting in pre-k, they bring home all of their work, art etc etc. My wedding wasnt really a wedding, we kind of eloped - got all dressed up, just 2 witnesses then out to a lovely dinner at Tavern on the Green then off to honeymoon. We have photos but not lots of memorabilia from that. But i tossed all of our photo negatives, i tossed most of the boys stuff except for the best of the best, i tossed most baby clothes except for one newborn item from each of the boys. Thats really just de-cluttering...I mean I AM blessed to still have our photos and photo albums and I do treasure these...surely I would be very sad to lose them since we did not have digital camera and hard-disk storage for photos when they were babies. But something that I have come to realize is that people - family and friends - have more photos and memories of them than I knew of. And something else that I have accepted is that things - yes even precious photos - are SO much less important than beautiful memories. No one and nothing can ever take these from you and those that have them are blessed and lucky!
