Like clockwork, my barber gets surprised when I ask him to use number 1 trimmer. 
It happens every single time. I get lazy and let my hair become an Afro, I go in and ask for him to use number 1 trimmer and he’s always like “Are you sure man?..it’s really short” while he looks at my hair in amazement. And each time I have to remind him “Yeah! I just got lazy and didn’t come sooner, trust me I need you to trim them short…I know how short number 1 is”…so like a cautious tactician he starts with Number 2. Asking me after trimming the hair “How does it look?”, and my response always “This isn’t number 1”. Then he goes “Oh ok..Number 1 it is…”..
Lol. I can almost predict the entire haircut conversation before I’ve even left the house. Sigh.
