the question is am i too old to have all pink and purple in my room? like the curtains, sheets, pillows, candles?
i really do care abt what u think…cuz i just had an argument with my mom who thinks it seriously looks immature…
i disagree…why does pink have to be immature? its girly yeah but not just for kids.. i mean not like im gonna have barbie on the pillows…
oh and can someone give me tips on painting a room? what colors make a room look bright and welcoming?

Uhmm no pink isn’t very immature, it can be classy, or flashy/wild depending on the hue… a pale, french-manicure pinkish beighish color for walls and carpet and curtain is nice.. i’d save buble gum pink for the candles.. uhmm thas all i can think of
jee nahi i had my own room but last yr me and bro moved to a 2 br apt :( when mommy came to visit i had to share with her....i dont mind but i like to sleep early and she doesnt :( and i need complete silence to sleep while she needs the TV to sleep !!!!
you can mix up the pink with other colors. Like pale blue and pink combo or pink and green or even pink and black. so many possibilities
I am a pastel junkie so I would recommend a pastel color for the paint on your walls.
I have a pastel turquoise color on my walls - it is cool in the summer and winter :)
mix pink with a lil red or a shade of blue, or go with pink and silver accesories.. lighting will brighten up the room.. make ur door n trims around the room white to make the pink pop.. have fun creatin a masterpiece
mix pink with blue/light blue ..a bed room looks soo dreamy in blue/sky blue shades ..i don like bright bedrooms ..but blues, greens n lavenders r perfect for bedrooms if u want a calming look ... if u want a warmer look then go for soft shades ..
u can also go for a light pink n white shade if u want to give it a romantic look n then decorte it wid candles, fresh flowers, perfumed sachets,u can also fit a small cup hook in the ceiling n attach netting thing ...it will give ur room the right girlish look :)..
you can paint your room a neutral colour and introduce pink in the form of pictures , candles, frames, soft furnishings... bedcloths, cushions,curtains etc
