Im going to Pakistan.....what should I buy?

So, im heading to Pakistan for my first time, and I would love to know what are some important things I should get from there for my wedding, and for everyday use around my new home.

Is there certain things in particular you ladies need to get when you go there, that you can’t find else where?

I have never been, so I don’t know what to get or even where to go?

Please help!!!

It would really be appreciated!!!

Lots and lots of clothes! Shoes and purses/clutches to match them with...and jewelery

  1. clothes (different level and color variety of partywear, heavy wear and post-wedding wear) - i'd focus my efforts on making sure i was getting EXACTLY what i wanted from the designers and making sure you're getting clothes that are well fitted and in style not just for today but at least for the next 2 years so you don't go out of fashion quickly.
  2. shoes - they have fantastic quality crystal shoes and there are some specific designers who make their own shoes. its worth checking out.
  3. handbags?
  4. some cosmetic jewelry, but you have to be careful because some of the stuff is tacky.
  5. i'd buy anything and everything you need for the mehendi. you can get custom table clothes, napkins, small decorations, leaves to put the mehendi on your hands, you can even get your entrance stuff for instance a dupatta with handles on it to hand to your friends/family to hold while you make your entrance.
  6. i'd get a pair of khusa (traditional shoes) to wear to your mehendi or mayoun.
  7. some people do wedding invitations and gift bags (but you won't get as high quality stuff as you get here, obviously)

n7111...I'm going to Lahore...any good shops I should know of?

Anyone else have anything.....I really need the help!!!!!!!!! I don't want to regret not getting somthing....im spending so much time and money going there....i want to take full advantage of it!!!

1- Liberty
2- Anarkali
3- Pace (for jewellry's mostly)
4- Auriga
5- Mall Road
6- Ichara (its huge market but quiet rushy)

I will add something to my list as well....a choorian stand...(someone suggested that to me and its a great idea...where else would i put them all)

Do visit liberty, you'll find lots of stuff there..
Also, go to pfdc the boulevard (its 10-Q gulberg) that place has lots of designers selling their pret stuff under one roof, amazing place if you're wanting to spend on designer stuff....i havent been there in a while but i hope you find some nice stuff there.. There's a place called labels in y-block defence and i believe they have many designers under the same roof too...

Let us know what exactly you are looking for and i might know where you can find it in lahore....
