I am going for my wedding shopping to places in Lahore. I need semi-formal (chiffon) shalwar kameez/gowns/maxies/anarkalis etc for the dinners & weddings to attend afterward.
Please give me suggestions of outlets in Lahore where i can get reasonable ranged semi-formal/formal elegant dresses.

all of these are either on m m alam road or hussain chowk.
you could also try going to fortress for ready to wear formals and semi formals from a wide variety of boutiques there...some of them very reasonably priced too :)

I like the clothes of these places but they are all embroidered un-stitched and their style is quite done with now. I am looking for something more flowy and fashionable. Ill check these places as well in case there is something new.

The heavy kaam walay.. i am not making many but i have got 3 already. I am looking for light kaam walay semi formals preferably ready to wear sort.

Think Pink and Zardozi in liberty used to have stitched semiformals. you might want to check them out. Another place i can think of is Maysoon.

I went to Liberty, Main boulevard (Empire center one) and Johar Town branches.

Hi there daffy,What kinda prices were the ready mades at? My Sis going to Lahore for 2 days and Ive asked her to pick me up some ready mades but pretty clueless where to go...have told her liberty...looking for a line style with some lace/border design...any help guys?

if you are looking for a little fancy sort then they are from rs. 8000 to rs. 30,000 mostly. Bareeze & chineyere had good ones.

Thanks for your quick reply daffy...is Chineyre in liberty too? was after some casuals too, I'd seen on someone elses post that fortress might be a good place to go, did you check that place out too?

Yup Bareeze & chineyere both are in liberty and are basically side by side mostly because they have the same owner. Fortress, i am not too sure about. There are lots of clothes there but none the type i like because of the fabric and kaam and also the places have some what tacky stuff. I am not generalizing.. do visit it you might like something.
