I'm going nuts for wavy hair

… so i plan to buy the hair curler, which looks like the straightening iron, only it doesn’t straighten, it curls. i think its called the curler but isnt the rod type which i already have.

SO well, DO any of you use one? are they any good? Which one should I be looking for, as in brands, types whatever.

I use my 1" chi iron to both straighten and curl my hair with great results. You don’t have to use a chi, any 1" ceramic straightener will do. It takes a little bit of practice but once you figure out how to do it, its an indispensable skill. I can curl my whole head within 15-20 minutes. And I don’t have to carry around both a straightener and a curling iron. Here are some youtube videos to help you get started.




FYI-Most videos suggest using various products. These are totally optional, use what works best for you.

i use my crimping iron from the 80s and sometimes a triple barrel iron (beyonce used to use one as well to do her wavy look)
