Ever since the age of 21…i’ve been beeing loose my eye vision. Things are getting blury and Its troublesome sometimes to drive at night. Are there any desi totka’s for improving eye vision?
Someone suggested eating black pepper and carrots can improve eye vision. Is this a myth or fact?

oh my Furqan, yes you need to see a doc. Rather than continue losing your vision, depending on what is wrong, it may be correctable. If you just let it go, you're taking such a chance of losing your sight. GO MAN GO to the doc!!! NOW!!!

I think you will need more than a totka to get this fixed. Contact a physician ASAP, eyes are not something to be taken lightly.

If I were you, I'd see a regular medical doctor or an optometrist to get an appointment with an ophthalmologist.
An ophthalmologist I believe is an eye specialist. An optometrist I believe is someone who basically is qualified to test your eyes for the prescription and perhaps a little more. Therefore, I wouldn't rely too much on what an optometrist says.
I saw an optometrist recently and I wasn't satisfied with what I was told. I'm sort of waiting to free up my schedule, so that I could coerce a regular medical doctor to get me an appointment with an ophthalmologist.

Furqan, carrots are indeed good for vision in the darkness. They contain vitamin A which is essential when eyes adapt to the darkness. Don't know about pepper, but if anything it's probably cuz they contain vit A

eat supplements with Vitamin A in it..... insh'allah u'll feel the difference.....
if not then u need medical attention..
good luck.. and dont take it easily..... eyes are huge blessings of Allah and it needs care.. do whatever it takes to get urself better sight wise.

I went to the eye doctor yesterday and my eyes have gotten a lot worse. 
I thought the carrot thing was a myth? I guess if Nescio says it isn’t, then we can take his word for it.

carrots have carrotene in 'em..which is like an essential vitamin for your eyes.
there's a book called 'seeing beyond 20/20' ... my psych teacher was tellin us that it helped a lot of ppl improve their vision...becuz it has some little tricks in it...u might wana check that out :p

rather then wait and see approach u should def. see a doc man...desi medicine might be a good supplement, but u should see da doc

Bhai you are not going blind. Keep cool. Its just that your vision is getting a little weak. Probaly you are getting "myopic" (Near sighted). Just visit an Ophthalmologist once and then you'd need yearly examinations by optimetrists as it is expected that the visual acuity will decrease over the first 2-3 years and then stabilizes.
You need to get yourself examined as soon as possible becasue 2 complications you need to be aware of are "retinal detachment" and "Vitreous hemorrhage" which are both ophthalmologic emergencies....

Absolutely not. This level is very mild however Furqan, I tell you, this is gonna go bad a little more in the first 2-3 years. But then, It is gonna stabilize. So yearly exams are essential bhai....

Put a drop of pure, unprocessed honey in each eye before going to sleep at night. Do this consistently every night for 3 months and then have your eyes tested again.
This desi totka actually improved my vision in measureable amounts and it fully corrected my brother's vision so that he no longer wears corrective lenses.
It's painful.....stings like heck.....but it works.

Anyone tell me how they measure your eyesight? Like in negatives..etc and how do they reach them from 20/20.

actually furqan, -1.25 isn't that bad..mines is -4 :(..someone here mentioned they had -9 vision and they are able to get laser surgery..thas an option. I might go for laser correction in the next 4-5 years :)

Furqan, carrots are good for the eyes but won't improve vision in any noticable way, u need to see a specialist.
As for the carrot myth, even though they are good for the eyes, eating more won't make any difference to vision, but the extremely exagerated benefits of eating carrots is a myth from world war 1 or 2, i'm not sure which, but this is how it came about. When the germans/nazi's would bomb britain they'd carry out missions in the dark so as to avoid being shot down, however britain had developed radar, and the germans didn't know about it, so many german bombers would get destroyed, sometime either during or after the war, the germans had asked the british how they had managed to shoot down as many planes as the did during the dark, and some british guy replied " we feed our pilots lots of carrots" and thats how the carrot thing started.
GO SEE A SPECIALIST FURQAN!...DON'T TAKE ANY RISKS WITH URE SIGHT.....
