^In your 80s ? Indepedent? I very much doubt it! Yes its fun being an adult, but being very old doesnt looks like much fun.Nothing wrong in kids coming up to you for advice.I just dont want to be old.:(
And how independant are you when you need to ask daddy for money? Financial independance is a good thing. And yes, you can be totally independant at 80 even. (You just need a good doctor on the side.)

MQ, you are not talking about old people, you are talking about invalid people. I agree that at a certain point they are synonymous, but 90% of the time its not. I know lots of people in the 20's who require a hand to even going to the bathroom. Plus we have lots of medical ppl in our family so i hear lots of stories about those people.
Sorry, went on a tangent there. Age is about how you look at life. I'm not saying you are wrong in what how you are thinking. When I was in my teens I would also think that 25 yrs was old. So its all in the perspective.

I personally think being in 20's is not really old. Think about this, in today's world, people are living in mid to late 60's . Some even pass into 70's. So being in 20's is still pretty young relatively. Now you do feel little awkward when 14-17 year olds start calling you uncle or aunty :(

NO thats not the Desi way, but I think alot of people have fooled you by saying that they wana be khala and disappearing in you, but grow up. thats not how it happens. They are just fooling you.
