I’m all the way in the UK, so I wont be able to check anything out before the end of the year. I rang Ramada International this morning and they quoted Rs 850 per head (which seems a little expensive to me tbh). I’ve also contacted a catering company called Amir Rajput (but I think they may be events organisers - I don’t want to pay an arm and a leg) - they sound ok, but I’m not really sure exactly what it is they offer. Are there any other venues which you guys could advise upon?
For my Mehndi I’m looking for a nice hall, Nikah, a hotel and a garden for my valimah. Any input will be greatly appreciated, especially advice related to mehndi, make-up, entertainment etc

First of all congratulationz natasha...hope all goes well....ok now shahjehan is a marriage hall in multan n its gud...ramada is there....shangrilla also have lawns where they conduct wedding functions n they r guddd...i had my wedding at MGM(multan garrison mess) n it went perfect mashAllah :-) they offer their lawns...u can hav a visit n c wat suits u....my catering was done by amir rajputs n they did it veryyy well....meet their head n tell him exactly wat u want....having sessions is imp as it reinforces to them that u ppl actualllyyy WANT a gud function!!!!!Good Luck!!!!

n yes...i got my makeup done from cosmos...meet the owner...n tel her exactly wat u want....like light base, lipstick color, typ of eyemakeup etc ....feel concerned n show it to her....shes an expert n she wil understand the typ of makeup u want....also i wud "highly" recommend their facials n services....best of luck :)

I hated Cosmos. The owner is so rude and the makeup they do is really heavy. The girls didn’t know how to blowdry or do a proper manicure.
I went to Allenora in the end to have my mehndi and hair done and did my makeup myself. It’s cleaner, the girls all have separate duties, are a lot more polite and listen to you. I felt a lot more relaxed there than at Cosmos. The clientèle at Allenora were different too.
Visit both before you make a decision.
Ramada is okay if you will be staying there too for convenience and then I guess you can work something out with them. But they will try and get as much money out of your as possible.
MGM grounds can be used but the decorating, catering etc is all done by Amir Rajput.
MGM have different rates depending on the menus....but they are reasonable than ramada...u can go and hav a look at it....also as far as parlours are concerned....have a visit to both allenora and cosmos (the only better options that u hav got) n then decide urself... :)
just to give u options.....u can hav a look at mirrors too for the makeup (although seeing their photos which they hav mounted...i wont recommend it)

How many people attended your wedding at the MGM and how much did the catering cost with amir rajputs? I've had a look at their menu online but there's no price attached. Do they charge for the venue too? Sorry if I'm being nosey, but I don't know anyone who's ever used them -

no its ok....its ur right 2 b concerned :) yes they charge for the venue too but i dont think its much....u hav to pay a visit urself or send sum1 to meet them n c the menu card themselves....as they hav different rates for different menus starting from 500 per head i guess...

Hey there is this hotel near Ramada , called The Taj Hotel. I have eaten their catering >>>>>>>>> MashaAllah too yummy , especially the finger fish, jalaibi and pink tea.
You can go there , meet its owner Saeed Sahab and he might be able to tell u of some venues especially i think he has some gardens of his own , probably punjab gardens club near baagh langay khan somewhere.
