Just one thing. since Pakifry said k Allah will Judge etc.. Allah has Alreaddy in the past Judged on this Issue of Homosexuality.
The Nation of Hazrat Lut AS was wiped off the face of the Earth because one of their major sin and setback was that the Nation became homosexual. even the Hazrat Luts wife, was beleived to be part of it. This Qaum was destroyed.
So what do u think will happen to those who are ‘‘Looti’’ as its pharsed in Islamic Terminology. in the Prophet SAWs Ummah. beleive it or not but am sure that person will be dealt with , worser than the nation of Loot AS.
Previos nations were destroyed due to their actions. Now when it came to our nation. its Ordered by Allah to learn lessons from the previous nations as to what they did and what happend to them, and therefore abstain from those actions.
so ermm the part about Allah Judging the homos. Am sure Allah will be alot more strict, and i dunt think easy forgiving on this Issue.

-so I understand that us pakistanis believe that gays are the scum of the earth so what am i to do. -let me start by saying, it is not a choice. i can remember liking boys back when i was three years of age and over the years it has not changed, i'm in my 20's now. -Here are the reasons I will not marry a girl: 1) it will not be fair for the girl 2) most of my family already has an idea that girls don't really appeal to me so it would be extremely awkward being with a girl knowing that my family knows that i have a thing for boys -my family and i live in north america and we aren't the most religious family, but we are pakistani -plz don't recite the Quran to me, yes i know what it says about homosexuality -Don't think that suicide hasn't crossed my mind. me killing myself would be more damaging to my family then me telling them i'm gay -plz, i want to hear what you have to say about pakistanis being gay

Fairy-tale let me tell you that Our understanding and intrpretations of Koran do not come from 'ordinary' mullahs or imamn.
They come from Past and Present SCHOLARS of ISLAM.
Scholars are referred to in the koran as the ones with the lofiest ranks amongst the muslims who will be in the highest levels of paradise.
In other words The Scholars in islam are known as the Authorities in Knowledge.
And of the millions of schoalars throughout past and present you will find no scholar who differeniates in the issue of Gayness and its Prohibition in Islam.

I think its great that you refuse to adopt a way of life (heterosexuality) that clearly isn't you. Don't be sorry for who you are. Homosexuality isn't a choice, you're right. People are born gay or lesbian and it has nothing to do with their choices. I think its really sad that people may blame you or suggest that you should seek forgiveness because you never asked to be gay, you were born gay. Its similar to saying a person born with cancer should be ashamed of themselves. I hope someday the world, especially Pakistanis, open up their close-minded views if they homo-phobes.

^ I am yet to learn if some peopl are really 'born gay', it seems to be an interesting point if true.
I have heard of some people especialy in pakistan being born with both sexes or abnormal reproductive body parts, in which sense one could emphatise with them.
But i do not know about being born gay. We know that it hormones that distinguish the sexes. maybe some peoples had problems with thier body/ endocrine system development, which made them tend towards the wrong side.
However in respect to this, hormonal medical therapy is today avalible and in widespread use.
People are even using and have succesfully used hormonal thepary to change thier sex.

Being a homosexual and being a hermaphrodite are clearly two different things. Think of it like this: as a straight male, you never woke up one morning and "chose" to be straight. Its just something you felt inside and I'm sure that as hard as you tried, you could not pretend to be gay. Homosexuality works the same way.
Also, taking HRT for something that isnt life-threatening or seriously bothering you is plain stupid as its known to cause cancer. Plus, I highly doubt any hormonal supplements could cure gay people of their "ailement".
I think its really sad that people may blame you or suggest that you should seek forgiveness because you never asked to be gay, you were born gay.
