Im curious...

neither
kimonos.

Soooooo asian lol?

Kimonos are not that pretty though. Those big bows in the back....blech....

I don’t know about you ladies but a soul patch if done right…:hayaa:

EDIT: Forgot to add the bulging biceps…

and banarsi gharaas are pretty?
u guys are so ethnocentric :snooty:

Re: Im curious...

Sometimes a soul patch looks like he just forgot to shave that bit off.

Re: Im curious...

horny ladies, please we are talking about clothing items not shoulders, chins, cleft chins, soul patches, biceps, packages etc

otherwise the guys will soon turn the ladies thread into all about T&A..really...

**I’m an ABCD. I don’t even know what half the clothes you guys talk about are…sigh I always have to look them up… **

BTW I’m guessing but I could be wrong but did you mean ghararas?

X2 doesn’t know much about his own ethnic clothing to be accusing the women of being “ethnocentric.” :snooty:

Oh and don’t say that the reason we know the titles of the clothing is indication of our being “ethnocentric.” :snooty:

yeah ghararas...typo

No..saying "yuck’ to another culture’s clothing is indication of being ethnocentric.

I did not say YUCK to any clothing
I said I preferred kimonos
nowhere in there does it say I dislike desi clothes, does it, a typo is a typo, thats all it is.

I know enough about my own ethnic clothing that when i see the assclowns in shaadi forum in the technicolour embroidered sherwanis, i want to have them join together in a new qawali band. :rotfl:

**I meant yuck to those huge bows they have, otherwise kimonos can be pretty hot! Ohhhh I should say that in the other thread…guys in kimonooossss!!! **

**And apparently, Mr I’m not ethnocentric here doesn’t appriciate shervanis. What if you’re forced to wear one some day huh? **

I love sherwanis, and have worn them for years. my old blog is full of my pics in sherwanis
however, I have a plain black one currently and a charcoal one.

when i got married I had an offwhite one with light embroidery on the collar.

I dont like the clownish sherwanis, what I meant was I know enough about my cultural clothes to know when they have become a caricature and the person wearing them a desi circus ringmaster.

just like I love wearing suits bit not ghetto gangsta zootsuits

or I live in jeans but none of that ugly ed hardy type crap.

:hmmm: I cannot answer this one :hmmm:

A soul patch looks sleezy! It either looks like he had a caterpillar under his lower lip or dirty, like he ate food and forgot to clean his face.

I'm not too keen on them either. Clean shave or a bit of stubble looks nice on some guys IMO.

Re: Im curious...

a vertical line going from lip to end of chin is better than a usual soul patch, i just shaved mine off after growing it for a few weeks :( client meetings and stuff coming up..

Re: Im curious…

white button down shirt with nice, dark jeans with cute black shoes on a guy=HOTTIE!

On the either hand, dark shalwar kameez…

same goes to pakistani women.. pakistani women can look very nice in western clothing if they choose the right ones. it makes casual clothing on them look more formal and elegant. pakistani women bring out their beauty by shalwar kameez too, but then again, its the FIGURE that counts

Re: Im curious...

Men and facial hair is another thread altogether.

I is talkin bout men in kurta shalwar...

so yay or nay?

I say yumm!

and you were thinking of nawaz shareef and fazle alam etc when you wrote that

Re: Im curious...

X2! Another YUKHY! Not even YUCKY! For that, its yukhy! ^
