A tailored suit is great and all, but there is something so delicious about my hubby in a shalwar kamiz or sherwani.

Considering that the dhoti is the piece that hides the shame the best, you must keep that.
You may, however, part with the fish net stockings...although you'd be losing the "oomph" factor and won't be as saxy anymore.
Now in case there is a strong hawa ka jhonka..I would suggest having a chadar around....it'll be the next best thing to your dhoti. Just...don't trip on it. There's nothing more unsightly than a man who can't work a dhoti. It's like a woman who can't walk in heels.
