Are we hurting our souls, mind, and heart by creating fantasies when they might not come true in reality. We all have our “ideal” man and woman. Are fairy tale stories lie? Why do we create illusions and get hurt at the end! ? I thought the world exists on hopes. Why do we contradict in many ways? Why can’t we have a neutral mind? Why do we put emphasis on having a prince charming?
Re: "Illusion" and "Ideal"
I think the Media and show Biz is presenting to us a daily dose of celebrities and good looking people which causes each person wanting to be like them in some way!
It sets a standard of looks and lifestyles!
Re: "Illusion" and "Ideal"
We are looking for perfection in an imperfect world. Someone may tick some of the boxes but nobody is going to tick them all. Even if someone ticks all the boxes it does not mean that life will be rosy or how we imagined it to be.
I think that the key is to throw out the criteria and go with the flow. When you click with someone you will know that person is the right one. But even with the right one you still will have your ups and downs. You will still need to work on your relationship. He will try to adjust to you and you to him. Only after some time together you will become perfect for each other. The key thing is that the other person loves you enough to want to make the relationship work. Everything else you can compromise with.
Who we end up being with is just a random incident. Its about the right thing happening at the right time and place. Whatever happens .....happens for the best, even if it does not make sense to us at the time.
