We were at a party yesterday and the ladies were discussing that they would never eat food prepared by someone who has any serious , infectious illness like AIDS , Hepatitis etc …
I thought that was mean ..infact very mean … but the question did come in my mind …

numerous folks with various infectious diseases cohabit with their "normal" families and society for that matter, without passing on their infections. ...
Not every infectious disease is contagious via the same route.
Not every microbe is viable in every medium.
These ladies need to educate themselves ....
