hi someone told me that u have to do these courses to apply for abroad studies..can anyone tell what are these ..i have 3 months vacation and then my inter results will be out..thx

Ielts and toefl are english a second language exaMS. One has to take these exams to prove that their english is reasonable enough to understand what is being taught is their college/university.
One can be exmepted from these exams if they have had a grade C or above in their O'levels , but they are very easy anyway and I have hardly seen anyone failing 'em. You can take clases if you want to or you can just buy a book and prepare at home.
