if anyone can please share their reviews on ikea furniture, specifically the bed. the design lines are clean, but i wanted to know how durable they are.

does anyone have any experiences with ikea bedroom furniture? good or bad, please share..

I buy 6 drawer chestnut from IKEA and it is awesome, alos I buy other small stuff from there, but have no idea about bedroom furniture.

cheap ikea stuff is just that..cheap
goo ikea stuff is pretty good.
my buddy ha bought a bed and dressers from IKEA back in 95, he move gave it to his sister who used it and its now in her guest room and her parents use it when they are visiting. so must be durable

We have an IKEA bed for our kids, king size, and love it. Very clean design, not bulky and comfortable. We've had it for a year only though...seems to be going well! Low bed is great for kids. Don't have to worry about them falling off!

I have a queen sized bed. It sometime jerks if you move on it too violently. Definitely no jumping on them or anything. But the good thing about them is that they are not bulky and huge like the beds sold in other furniture stores. I would buy one again. Mine cost $500 in total I think. At that price, I wont even cry if it breaks.

I think the only thing with IKEA beds is that the mattress has to be bought from ikea as well, because they have weird sizing. However, i'v never boughtone so don't know how well they last.

They have different types of mattresses based on thickness etc. I like them, and their cotton bedsheets are very nice too!

me and my hubby like IKEA alot..their designs r really very nice...we have bought each and everything from IKEA...the tv lounge sofas,center table,tv trolley,speaker stands,shelves for decoration pieces,glass cabinet for decoration pieces..then our bedset (as well as matching side tables)alongwith the mattress..wardrobes..even my kid's wardrobe...the chest of drawers,matching mirror ..dining table set..and everything is really working fine....one of my hubby's friends says ur home is itself a small IKEA...

hmm. well these are mixed reviews, mostly positive i believe. so uetian2k1, how durable do you find ikea stuff? how long have you been using all this for?? im considering investing in an ikea bedroom setting, and im pretty skeptical b/c the online reviews on it are pretty ****ty....

i have been using my IKEA furniture for the last 3 1/2 yrs..and no problems at all...another most imp thing u should consider is that if u r moving around alot (bcz of job issues etc.) its the best to take...
