The Iguazu Falls lie across the border of Argentina and Brazil, and have been described as everything from the most dramatic and picturesque waterfalls in the world to one of Mother Nature’s greatest works. Maybe Eleanor Roosevelt said it best when, upon viewing the falls for the first time, she famously said “Poor Niagra”. Short and sweet. It’s not surprising then that the Iguazu Falls are at the top of every good backpackers list of 'must sees’ in South America.
