I usually do Iftari/Dinner at Masjid on weekend. It is fun to see many desi people there. I feel enjoyment in my life when I go there.

Re: Iftari/Dinner at Masjid
There was an iftar on Saturday night. 3 Pakistani families got together and catered for about 200 people. Unfortunately, the place ended up looking like some desi wedding, where everyone attacks the food. No one got in a line, there was plenty of food for everyone, but it was shocking... this was Australia.. not some desi village
Re: Iftari/Dinner at Masjid
no way cant believe it, wonder what happens to people when they see food, where do their manners go. I thought this was only in Pakistan.
Re: Iftari/Dinner at Masjid
Aftaar in masajid is always elevating. I havent had experience of aftaar in any masjid but Masjid al Haram and I can never forget the experience. The love and care of strangers for you. In the court yards of Masjid e Nabwi, there are long and lavish lay out of food items for aftaar and man oh man the generosity and good will. You get to learn so much.

Re: Iftari/Dinner at Masjid
Iftar and dinner at Masjid are for people who can't afford it , i.e Student and travelers . So if you aren't bringing your own food to the mosque , you should better leave it for the people who deserve it .

Re: Iftari/Dinner at Masjid
Nothing much to do at work - Pakistanis hardly work in rest of the months , so let alone the month of Ramazan ! waiting for more Satans ( your govt officials to turn up for a meeting ) ![]()
