who cares .. i ll cook maself and give her chance to learn ...and if she dont learn then .. we re not just gona go on hunger strike ..i ll cook for both of us ..

ps. she can cook ..so no worries for me ..

I can cook a lot of dishes, few desserts, professional style! Love to cook. Just hate cutting onion, peeling vegies, and can't make a dough for roti! :(

Still, a wife has to know cooking. No two ways about it!!!

I can't cook to save my life and my fiance LOVESSS to eat! His khala is a wonderful cook n he loves her cooking...her husband on the other hand does not really care abt good food, he can eat anything. She told my fiance once that the men that love eating good food usually end up with women that cant cook and the ones that don't care abt good food as much end up with the ones that love to cook and r great cooks. He told me that and we thought "omg thats so true" (in our case at least :D)

I'm a rubbish cook but I don't think it's seen as anywhere near as important nowadays as it was in our parents generation.. yeah, u get some more traditional men who will be obsessed with getting a wife who must be able to cook them what they want and exactly the way they like it right off the bat but seems like they're a minority..

some guys are so obsessed w their wife's cooking its insane, they'll compare everyone's ghar ka khana like its a competition

if she can cook, cool.......if not no biggie, koi bhooka nai marne wala

Some men of our culture make such a big deal when our wives doesn't cook for us. I mean if your wife really loves us...then she'll do it because her husband bring food on the table for his family. And in the case when wife doesn't cook at all..then it could be bit problem. However, this issue can be worked out together definitely!

I think It depends on what kind of hubby you get. But in any case wives would always have to learn cooking that's what I have learned after marriage. My husband is not really a food conscious, he eats whatever I cook for him :o but he never criticizes, nor do I have any pressure from his family, even then I feel that I should cook to get perfect in cooking.
