I think redvelvet gave great advice. And wedding gossip is the juiciest kind so of course the smallest comment, gesture, thought can and will be misconstrued to sound epic. Take this experience with stride, dont let it worry you and use YOUR gut to tell you of someone's intentions, not what you were told by someone else. Bottom line, to your question. No, I would not take worry or insult about any jewelry given. Pay more attention to how she treats you and your family in her words and actions and all will be well. (If she really didnt like you, she wouldnt be letting you marry her son)
