It's not uncommon for ppl to not get on brilliantly with parents-in-law (and vice versa)..

If they can at least tolerate each other I don't think it's a massive deal.. If you have to live with them winding each other up constantly tho you may need to do something..

Even if there was an issue of conflict that has been resolved, does you mom treat him well now? Like most son-in-laws are treated by the girl's side. If she does then, what's up with the dislike.
