Bear in mind that if you do it once, then you’ might have to do it always. One of my managers asked me but I said no, if I’m not going to make it for myself, then I won’t do it for anyone else. She was not a happy bunny but did not ask.
My sister on the other hand (doesn’t drink tea or coffee) does it all the time.
So how bout you? Am I a big meanie for not being a team member and not making tea?
I think I would make it, even if it means I make it for the rest of the time I'm at the job. But I think what you did, is great. It's not like she can fire you.
I would make it. No harm done.
And I don't think that by doing so I'd be accepting the job forever and ever, amen.
I am not always available to do stuff like this......but a favour once in a while doesn't hurt.
That's strange. I have never been asked to make someone coffee, even as wee first year coop student. Nor have I seen someone else being asked to do the same. I've seen people get coffee for everyone in their team if they run out for themselves, but most people will do that, including managers.
I suppose I would make it, but if it became continuous then I would speak to my manager about it.
Well if i'm making it for myself then i do ask the other three including the boss if they want tea or coffee... if they were to ask or demand it NO way id pretend i never heard them that would put them straight
